Treatments such as anti wrinkle injections use prescription only medicines, which means a prescriber must assess you in person before they can be used. At your prescribing consult we go through your medical history, examine the area being treated and make sure the treatment is right and safe for you. Your prescription is then written specifically for you.
It is a proper clinical appointment rather than a formality. If something in your history means we should not go ahead, or a different approach would serve you better, this is where we catch it.
