Mission Statement

We offer aesthetic and wellness treatments that honour who you are, not who the world expects you to be. Every appointment is a conversation, every plan shaped around your individuality — not trends or perfection.

This is about more than aesthetics or skin. It’s about feeling seen, supported, and safe in your body. Through ethical care, gentle education, and artistry rooted in intention, we guide you towards a version of yourself that feels grounded, empowered, and whole.

Eligibility & Treatment Appropriateness

All treatments are available strictly to individuals aged 18 and over.

Ametrine Newcastle reserves the right to decline treatment based on clinical judgment, ethical or psychological grounds, or medical history.

All new clients must attend a full consultation before any treatment is carried out.

Where appropriate, a treatment plan may be provided without treatment on the day.

Ametrine Newcastle does not routinely manage complications from treatments performed elsewhere.

Clients are encouraged to return to their original practitioner for follow-up.

If care proceeds at Ametrine, previous treatment records must be requested with written consent.

No negative commentary will be made about prior work; only clinical observations will be documented.

Medical History & Informed Consent

Clients must complete a full medical history form prior to treatment.

Written informed consent is required for each treatment, including details of risks, benefits, alternatives, and expected outcomes.

Clients may withdraw consent at any time.

Repeat procedures or alterations to treatment plans may require new consent.

Unrealistic Expectations & BDD

Clients with unrealistic expectations will be given appropriate education and guidance. Where goals cannot be met safely, treatment may be declined.

If a client screens positive for Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), treatment will not proceed and a referral to appropriate mental health services will be suggested.

 

Inclusivity and Diversity

Booking & Appointments

Appointments can be made online, via our app, or in-clinic.

Medical forms and pre-treatment instructions must be completed in advance.

Appointment reminders are sent via text or email.

Clients must arrive on time; delays over 10 minutes may result in cancellation of treatment and full charges.

Deposits are required to secure all appointments:

£25 for treatments under £100

£50 for treatments between £100–£149

£75 for treatments £150+

Online bookings: 25% for treatments over £100, 50% for treatments under £100

Deposits are non-refundable unless cancelled or rescheduled with appropriate notice.

Full payment is taken at the time of treatment. Payments can be made via cash or card (including AMEX).

Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows

Appointments cancelled within 24 hours or unattended without rescheduling will be charged the full appointment cost.

Reschedules within 48 hours will result in the loss of your deposit.

Communication about lateness or reschedules must be via email or WhatsApp. Social media messages are not monitored for booking issues.

Post-Treatment Reviews & Re-Treatment

Reviews for injectable treatments (e.g., toxin) are complimentary and must be scheduled within 2–4 weeks.

Top-ups for toxins are not performed after 3 weeks.

Re-treatment with toxin is not permitted within 3 weeks of the initial appointment.

Additional dermal filler can be booked at £150 per ml within 4 weeks.

Complications & Emergency Protocol

For urgent complications (e.g., severe swelling, vision issues, allergic reactions), call 111 or attend A+E immediately, then notify the clinic.

For non-urgent issues, use the complications contact form or call the clinic for assessment, or fill out our SOS form

Packages Policy
Membership Policy

Memberships are monthly, credit-based systems that include bonus value based on plan tier.

A minimum 3-month commitment is required. Cancellations or freezes must be made with 30 days’ notice.

Membership credit does not expire during active membership.

Frozen/cancelled memberships result in locked access to unused credit.

Credit is non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Complaints Handling

Complaints may be submitted by email, WhatsApp, phone, or in person.

You will receive an acknowledgement within 2 working days.

A full response is provided within 14 working days, unless otherwise agreed.

Complaints are investigated by the Clinic Manager, with review by the Director if needed.

Clients unsatisfied with the outcome may escalate to the CQC or relevant professional body.

 

Inclusivity and Diversity

We maintain the highest standards of hygiene and infection control, including strict handwashing protocols and clinical waste disposal. For your safety, our studio has a private entrance, and doors remain closed and can be locked during treatments. Please use the ring doorbell to enter — we’ll let you in as soon as possible, though there may be a short wait if we’re with a patient.

Use of Space

Our treatment rooms are private, comfortable, and designed with your wellbeing in mind. If you’d like someone to accompany you for support, they’re welcome to wait in the treatment room or lounge area.

Confidentiality and Privacy

Your privacy matters deeply to us. All client information is handled with strict confidentiality and in full compliance with GDPR regulations. A detailed GDPR policy is available separately.

Accessibility

AM Space is fully accessible, with ground-level entry and disabled-access toilets. If you require a BSL interpreter, please let us know in advance — we’re happy to arrange one for your appointment.

Children and Companions

We understand that support and comfort matter. Companions and children are welcome, provided they don’t disrupt your experience or the calm atmosphere for others. Our goal is always to create a relaxing and enjoyable treatment for you.

Emergency Procedures

Your safety is our priority. In the event of an emergency, please note there are two exits within the studio. Familiarise yourself with these when you arrive, and follow staff instructions if evacuation becomes necessary.
