We start with a consultation, looking at your lip anatomy, proportions and what you actually want. Numbing cream goes on while we chat, so by the time we begin you are comfortable.
The treatment itself takes around 30 to 45 minutes. Your practitioner works slowly and precisely, checking in with you and showing you the shape as it builds. You will leave with aftercare guidance and our contact details in case any questions come up later.
Some swelling is completely normal and usually looks its most dramatic the morning after, so do not panic. It settles over two to three days, with the true result visible at around two weeks.
For the first 24 to 48 hours, avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol, saunas and kissing pressure on the lips. A cool compress and plenty of water help swelling settle. Bruising, if it appears, fades within a few days and is easy to cover once the skin has settled.
Most clients enjoy their results for six to twelve months, depending on the product used, the amount placed and how quickly your body naturally breaks it down. Many people book a smaller top up rather than starting again from scratch.

It depends on your natural lip volume and the look you want. Many first timers start with 0.5ml for a subtle change, and you can always build gradually. Your practitioner will give you an honest recommendation rather than the biggest one.
We apply numbing cream before treatment and the filler itself contains local anaesthetic, so most clients find it far more comfortable than they expected. You may feel pressure and the odd sharp moment, but it is brief.
