Tear trough filler places a soft hyaluronic acid gel into this hollow to gently restore volume, soften the shadow and smooth the transition between eyelid and cheek.
The best candidates have a genuine hollow with good skin quality. If your main concern is puffiness, loose skin or pigmentation rather than a hollow, filler is often not the right tool, and we will tell you so at consultation. Sometimes a different treatment, such as polynucleotides, microneedling or topical skincare, will be a better preliminary option, and we offer them all.

After consultation and numbing, your practitioner places small amounts of filler using a cannula, a blunt tipped instrument that reduces bruising and keeps the treatment safe in this delicate area. The appointment takes around 30 to 45 minutes and most clients say it feels strange rather than sore.

Mild swelling or a small bruise is possible and settles within a few days. Sleep with your head raised on an extra pillow for the first night, and avoid strenuous exercise, alcohol and rubbing the area for 24 to 48 hours. Most clients are back at work the same day.
